Where and how did you meet?

We met in Durban when Nathi came to visit his friend, who happened to be my brother in law.

 How did he propose?

My parents were celebrating their 30th anniversary and during the event he asked for permission to propose. I was clueless, when he called me to the front at the celebration, went down on one knee and popped the question.

Please provide a short description of your wedding day?

Our wedding day was everything we had hoped for. The theme was Royal Elegance, royalty coming from our surname Nkosi(king). It was a day meant to show and share the love we have for each other and also rekindle the love other couples attending had for each other as well. We wanted to create a Nathi and Ndu Fantasy.

If you could change one thing about your wedding day, what would it be?

I wouldn’t change anything at all! It was perfect!

What was the highlight of your day?

There were three… When I walked down the aisle and Nathi was singing the Boys to Men song, I do; when Nathi and I walked into the main reception hall singing When I first saw you, to the music by Beyoncé and Jamie Fox; and when I saw the cake.

How did it feel to finally stand next to each other as husband and wife?

There was a feeling of completeness, of having a companion and a lifetime partner. I felt blessed!

Where did you go on honeymoon?

We haven’t gone on our honeymoon – we are still planning.

What advice would you give to a soon to be bride?

Your wedding day is about you, so have fun! What you couldn’t done, accept, move on and don’t stress about it.
